Exhibiting during this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show, Flirting Flowers and Vegetables with Attitude is a must-see show for all gardeners and plant lovers in London. Located a short 20 minute walk away from the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, this exhibition offers the perfect accompaniment to a day spent outside.

Victoria Poklewski-Koziell has had a lifetime interest in nature, painting, botany and gardening. She spent her first twenty years drawing and painting avidly. Marriage and children took her down other alleyways, but she always maintained a connection with nature through gardening. In her forties, Victoria returned to painting once more.

The time during lockdown was extraordinary and rare. The lack of distraction gave Victoria the freedom to celebrate her love of flowers and vegetables on a greater scale. Her exhibition is an exploration of the beauty and form that nature provides us. It also exists as a reminder to slow down and ponder nature.

The large-scale paintings engulf the viewer, making one truly appreciate the beauty and majesty of the natural form. Often zooming in on the centre of a flower, one becomes encapsulated by the detail, the colour, the extraordinary structure of the plant, whilst enormous vegetables tantalise and amuse. Victoria has a remarkable ability to enhance the complexity of flowers and vegetables in their most simple, natural state. This exhibition will humour, inspire, and delight all who visit it.

We hope you will be able to join us for a glass of wine at the Private View on Tuesday 24th May. Please RSVP to with your name and number of guests.
