Foraged: Summer Fruits in Watercolour
With luscious summer fruits as our specimens, Mary Ellen will introduce a few botanical artist’s techniques to paint your own colourful plant portraits in rich watercolour.
We will also have the help of cool, refreshing Forage Drinks to loosen one’s creativity.

About Mary Ellen Taylor
Mary Ellen Taylor’s love of flora and fauna began in the Galápagos Islands and Andes where she lived for 2 decades before settling into London 20 years ago to complete her diploma certificate in Botanical Painting at the Chelsea Physic Garden.
Mary Ellen is now Chair of the Physic Garden’s Florilegium and contributes her paintings to the Garden’s archives to document the Living Plant Collection on site. Mary Ellen is based at the Chelsea Physic Garden where she teaches as well as abroad, is a Fellow of The Linnean Society and exhibits widely.
Her work has been published, sold internationally, and recently selected for inclusion in the Transylvania Florilegium created under the Prince of Wales Foundation Romania.
