Artist Statement

I work from a studio on a farm in Hampshire. I am a visual artist working in in pen, ink, acrylics, charcoal but mostly oils. My main interest is in trying to abstract the visual information in front of me and turn it into a work of art on canvas. Inspiration is taken mostly from the surrounding rural landscape but also from the Hebrides where the light and colour pervade everything I do.
