Artist Statement

Something plucked, a dropped stone and a whisper. My paintings reference tapestry art and are woven with as many threads: half-glimpsed ideas, memories and forms. I’m curious about trees and figures and how historical techniques and references can play a part in contemporary ecofeminist myth-making.
