Artist Statement

Alda June merges observation and imagination through drawing and often transforms those works through printmaking. A little magic is inherent in the creation of a print. She is fascinated by the alchemy of this medium and leans into chance. As a result of this multi-layered practice, Alda’s work drifts between the playful and the uncanny.
