Artist Statement

My work usually draws on the paradox between the familiar and the subtle narrative underlying contemporary culture. I paint in oils and usually from life, My subject matter varies from Portraiture, still life and occasionally landscape. I consider the relationship with art as a constant work in progress evolving and changing with the creative current; always looking to create something different.
