Artist Statement

I trained at Heatherleys School of Fine Art, winning the Portrait Prize at the end of the Diploma. I have continued to exhibit and sell work, concentrating on landscapes and particularly industrial landscapes but also doing smaller works, including still lives. I usually work in oil but also on paper. I am drawn to simple and utilitarian subjects but hope to reveal expressive and poignant feeling in my work.
