Artist Statement

From leaving St Martin’s as a structural materialist Filmmaker to studying Classical Realism in Florence, I continue to be involved with figurative realism, painting, drawing and short movies. My recent works show both the realist traditions, techniques and concepts with a looser more painterly approach, particularly when painting flowers. My aim is are to create a palpable sense of volume and three dimensional form within the works. Please see my bio for more information
