Artist Statement

As a mokuhanga printmaker, my prints are generally small and delicate, exploring my ideas about belonging and sense of place. My prints celebrate the patterns, colours and textures of different cultures.

My recent work focuses on gardens, and I’m exploring how nature is woven into our everyday lives, even in small ways. I’ve been experimenting with different papers, layering, and mixing bookarts techniques with mokuhanga prints.
