Artist Statement

I am a figurative artist, based in London and Bristol. I’m interested in portraying life and the simple experience of being in the world. I love to draw and use this as a mode of looking closely at people, things and my surroundings. I also love to paint and distill the nature of those same things while enjoying the physical properties of the medium and allowing happenstance, mood and moment to infuse the work with something more.
