Artist Statement

I am a South African artist living in London. I have been a artist for 20 years and try draw inspiration from my personal experiences. For instance i lived in Paris for a year and half and was inspired but the reflections of Paris so I did a whole series of metallic skulls reflecting the buildings of Paris. At the moment I'm focusing on tattooed hands and the story they tell of ones journey. I work from my studio in Earls Court and do commissions for clients from here predominantly in oils on canvas. I also do large scale murals on occasion.
